Epic Inventor is a side-scrolling game with RTS and RPG elements inspired heavily by Terraria and Minecraft. But its not really the same at all. There is no digging of dirt, or chipping away at stone. Resource materials (such as stone, wood, and various metals) will be visibly different than the. UPDATE: Epic Inventor is being worked on once again! At the moment the project is known simply as Epic Inventor 2 and while I am not working on it this time around, you can learn more about the project via epicinventor.com.

The Buttons in the Inventory are a little bit small and make scrolling through the item list a bit tedious. Maybe implement an in-game method of seeing what can be made using an Item would be a nice idea. A small quest/objective system would be a good idea, like the creation of a work bench, acquiring a certain amount of materials etc. Should be skippable. As a kind-of tutorial.
When double-clicking an item in a container it should be moved into the inventory. Are there ways of increasing mining/harvesting speeds? I don't want to use that much time on every single piece of wood, stone etc.
Specially when the costs are comparably high. Sometimes there are holes that are so deep that even with a robot you can't get out of them unless you have something like a propeller etc. It would be a good idea to maybe implement an item that can teleport you back to the town, with a certain timeout and casting time, 30 seconds to cast, 10-20 minutes timeout. What are early defenses on things like workbenches or items in the city in general?I think the really really slow start in the game might make it comparably hard for beginners to get into the game and thus prevent them from actually enjoying what the game is about, specially the beginning seems like grinding/work, I'd suggest making the beginning a bit easier and accessible to get the player hooked.
